Volvo and iPod-together at long last

Last week, I received my car back from the Volvo dealership where they had removed the iPod cable, replaced my CD Changer, and granted a full refund. The product was that bad. They did not even make a fuss once it was clear to them the nature of the situation.

Having tried every single Apple store offering for connecting a car to an iPod, having tried the dealership method, I was getting all geared up to look into simply replacing the head unit for a unit that is compatible.

Saturday, I popped into the local Eckerd's drug store. There was a GE Cassette Adapter (model97572) behind the counter for sale at $8. I figured , what the heck, why not try it.

This one does not click or pop like all the others. It simply WORKS! Yea!

So, if you have a car stereo that clicks and pops to reverse the tape automatically, look no further. I tried to find a link to the item online. Unfortunately, none exists.
